Issue 1/2013 – focus on ‘Demography’

Demographic developments affect all aspects of international cooperation. This issue focusses on the ‘Megatrend: Demography’ and identifies some of the precautionary measures that societies can and must adopt in order to master the ensuing challenges.

The GIZ library in Bonn is a specialist library for development cooperation, developing countries and global policy. It currently comprises 80,000 books. We subscribe to some 400 German and foreign-language journals and have 65,000 articles and around 400 CD-ROMs and DVDs. This makes it the most extensive development library in the German-speaking world.
