Working under difficult conditions

Working in crisis countries demands a great deal of GIZ staff. Our aim is to improve the living conditions of people in partner countries. In order to do this, the company has established comprehensive security systems in several countries – for security is the top priority. The security situation often requires that German staff temporarily work from home, at a different location, or sometimes outside the country. But the work nevertheless goes on; the projects continue to operate with the support of German staff and especially national personnel.
