A total of 45 separate activities were organised, focusing on exercise, health and mobility. The ideas ranged from a ‘bike to work’ initiative in Namibia to a mountain hike in Pakistan and a delicious lunch using lots of local ingredients in Bolivia.
Almost twice as many GIZ activities were held compared with 2013. GIZ drew inspiration from the very different interpretations of the motto that emerged around the globe, and encouraged discussion among colleagues. The enthusiastic participation shows that GIZ not only ‘moves’ sustainability in its projects and programmes around the world, but also within the company itself.
