Unsere Welt – Unsere Zukunft

The Pacific island states are particularly vulnerable to the adverse effects of climate change. The inhabitants of many islands are already suffering from extreme weather events and water shortages. Developments which are especially challenging for future generations.

How do young people from this region experience the consequences of climate change? Why are their experiences of interest for young adults in Europe? Which effects of climate change affect us here? How can I get involved?

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH would like to invite interested young people to take part in the discussion during the event “Our World – Our Future”.

In an interactive and open format, an exchange takes place between young adults from the Pacific Small Island States and young Europeans, who are already engaged in environmental projects. With the help of testimonial videos and a quiz, concrete ideas for further action will be developed.
