GIZ and KfW – together at International Green Week Berlin

Visit GIZ and KfW at the International Green Week 2018 and find out more about our work.

International Green Week, a one-of-a-kind international trade fair for the food, agriculture and gardening industries, is being held again in January 2018. The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), together with many of its partners, is presenting an exhibition entitled ‘A world without hunger is possible’ in Hall 5.2. The BMZ exhibition focuses on the cocoa and cotton value chains, and also includes a stage, a sewing demonstration and a show kitchen.

‘Promote diversity – safeguard food security – create income-earning opportunities’ is the slogan of the joint exhibition by KfW and GIZ. The exhibition showcases GIZ’s activities in the area of manioc, moringa and mango cultivation, and KfW’s work on soil conservation, marine protection and seed preservation. By participating in a quiz, visitors can learn more about the work of the two implementing organisations and win a variety of delicious food samples.
