Minds and ideas: Barbara Lochbihler visits GIZ

At the heart of the event series "Heads and Ideas" is a personality whose ideas are enriching international cooperation.

Roots in the Allgäu region, at home in Europe, active around the world: Barbara Lochbihler has been the humans rights and foreign policy spokesperson for the Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance in the EU Parliament since 2014. She also serves as Vice-Chair of the Subcommittee on Human Rights. Her journey thus far has taken her from ‘conscientious, hard-working, quiet country girl from a family with no real interest in politics’ to a respected member of the EU Parliament and dedicated human rights advocate. At the event, Barbara Lochbihler will provide insights into her life and work and look back on her ten years of human rights work in the EU Parliament.

The event will be held in German.
