Department of Higher Education and Training support to Centres of Specialisation

OCCUPATIONAL TEAM CONVENERS PROGRAMME (Lot 1, 2 & 3)

The Career Path Development for Employment (CPD4E) programme is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). We are required to appoint a competent contractor(s) to provide support to the Department of Higher Education and Training Centre of Specialisation (CoS) programme through occupational teams.

• Occupational Team Convenors (OTC’s) will be appointed to support:
• Learners with workplace readiness,
• Employability support to graduates from the CoS programme, and
• Capacity development of TVET college.

This is the request to submit proposals for lot 1,2 and 3 as follows:

lot 1:    Boilermaker, Welding, Automotive Motor Mechanic, and Millwright

lot 2:    Bricklayer, Carpenter & Joiner, and Pipe Fitter

lot 3:    Bricklayer, Plumber and Electrician

Note: The bidder can tender for one or more of the lots. Should you wish to apply for more than one Lot, please note that each lot must be in a separate submission.

GIZ invites eligible and professional companies with a local presence in South Africa to participate in this tender. Proposal must be submitted to ZA_Quotation@giz.de by 23 June 2024.
