Event Management Services for the National Digital and Future Skills Conference (NDFSC) 2024
The Department of Communication and Digital Technologies (DCDT), supported by the Digital Skills for Jobs and Income (DS4JI) project, is seeking a qualified and experienced service provider to manage the upcoming National Digital and Future Skills Conference (NDFSC) 2024. The conference is scheduled for 20 and 21 November 2024 and will focus on South Africa’s youth in the digital economy.
Scope of Work:
The appointed service provider will be responsible for:
- Venue coordination, layout, and branding.
- Invitation management and speaker coordination.
- Conference website development and management.
- Communication support, including social media and press releases.
- Organization of exhibition areas for partners.
- Registration of speakers and delegates, including the preparation of lanyards and welcome packs.
- Professional photography, sign language services, and event streaming.
- Recording and transcribing of sessions.
- Appointment of a Program Director in consultation with conference organizers.
- Comprehensive report writing summarizing key discussions and outcomes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing large-scale events or conferences.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to deliver high-quality services within tight deadlines.
Interested companies with a local presence in South Africa are encouraged to submit proposals detailing their facilitation strategy and experience in handling similar projects.
