The Indo-German eGovernance Forum

The Indo-German eGovernance Forum 2013 on October 23-25, 2013 at New Delhi, India

The Indo-German eGovernance Forum is designed to become a permanent platform for experts from India and Germany to share and create innovative know-how on pressing Governance challenges and the potential of information and communication technology (ICT) to meet them.

The facilitation of an active dialogue between Indian and German eGovernance experts will foster the exchange of lessons learned and the creation of new ideas and solutions. Participants will gain fresh insights and know-how for what it takes to improve governance structures and what role ICT can play to support this process.

The Indo-German eGovernance Forum addresses eGovernance experts from administration, business and academia. By bringing together Indian and German decision makers from these areas, a fruitful exchange to enrich the discussion on how to meet pressing Governance challenges with the support of ICT will be facilitated.

The upcoming conference is scheduled as a three-day event. Beginning with a warm-up and networking dinner on the evening of the first day, the second day comprises keynotes and various round-table discussions organized around the following three major topic areas:

  • G2C: Responsive and inclusive public service delivery
  • G2B: Reaching out to MSME
  • G2G: Infrastructure and interoperability

For the third day an on-site visit of an eGovernance project is scheduled to bring the exchange full circle by experiencing Governance via ICT in action.
