27th GIZ-IGSSP Social Security Seminar

The 27th GIZ-IGSSP Social Security Seminar on the topic “Social exclusion & discrimination in availing social security benefits” is being held on May 12, 2014, starting at 5pm.

The keynote addresses are being delivered by Professor Sukhadeo Thorat & Dr Nidhi S Sabharwal of Indian Institute of Dalit Studies.

Professor Thorat and Dr Sabharwal will present their research findings on social exclusion from schemes related to food security, nutrition, employment and health. They will also speak about changes required to ensure non-discriminatory inclusion.
