C4C discusses Good Financial Governance in fragile contexts

12.04.2016 | How can Good Financial Governance strengthen states in distress? Representatives from the European Commission, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, Overseas Development Institute, the Lebanese Finance Ministry and GIZ debated this question at GIZ´s Brussels Representation on 12 April. The second event in the multi-stakeholder platform 'Capacity4Change' (C4C) series showcased successful examples of public finance reform and facilitated dialogue with 130 people participating on site and via live streaming on the internet. A special focus was set on the contribution of Good Financial Governance in countries affected by the refugee crisis.

GIZ's co-organiser this time was the European Commission's Directorate-General for International Cooperation and Development (DG-DEVCO). If you were unable to tune in on the day, you can watch a recording of the event online.
