Further reading: Lessons learned from Nepal’s peace process

Security and stabilisation is high on the agenda - worlwide as well as for GIZ. A GIZ article that appears in a discussion paper published recently by Friends of Europe, a European think-tank, provides further insights into the security and stabilisation nexus. Under the title ‘On its way to stability and peace: Nepal’s multi-level peace process’, the authors Klaus Schreiner and Claudia Schraewer review the successful approaches undertaken in Nepal. Together with partners and on behalf of BMZ, GIZ supported the peace process there during and after the civil war in the early 2000s.
