Call for Expression Interest - 83317749 AM for ADM (GSP)

The Governance Support Programme (GSP II) is a partnership programme agreed to between the Governments of South Africa and Germany. It is a technical cooperation programme co-steered at national level in a partnership be-tween the Department of Cooperative Governance, the Department of Public Service and Administration, the National Treasury, the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the latter responsible for the implementation of the development contributions on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and in delegated cooperation with the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland acting through the Department for International Development as well as the US Government acting through the United States Agency for International Development.

GSP II seeks to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to support Amathole District Municipality (ADM). The aim of the project is to ensure a financially and administratively sustainable service delivery provision through the identification and valuation of all moveable and immovable assets. The assignment is to achieve, at minimum, the following outcomes:

  1. The identification, valuation and completeness of all immovable assets including work-in- progress;
  2. The identification, valuation and completeness of all movable assets;
  3. The completeness and accuracy of the capital commitments register;
  4. The identification and quantification of water stock; and
  5. Address all audit outcome findings on Asset Management.
