Call for Proposal - 83377812 - Provision of customer care soft skills training for the frontline officials at Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM), Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality (RMLM) and Amathole District Municipality (ADM)

The Governance Support Programme (GSP II) is a partnership programme agreed to between the Governments of South Africa and Germany. It is a technical cooperation programme co-steered at national level in a partnership between the Department of Cooperative Governance, the Department of Public Service and Administration, the National Treasury, the Department of Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), the latter responsible for the implementation of the development contributions on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and the United States Agency for International Development.

The GIZ GSP II is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified service provider to offer customer care soft skills training to all customer-facing and back office staff within these municipalities: Chris Hani District Municipality (CHDM), Raymond Mhlaba Local Municipality RMLM) and Amathole District Municipality (ADM). The envisaged outcome of such a training is (a) uniformity and consistency when dealing with customers; (b) improved turnaround times and excellent customer experience; (c) motivated staff, good team spirit and (d) ability to identify service delivery gaps. The training must also include supervisory skills such as leading teams, planning activities, managing people issues, organising workloads and controlling resources – this is meant for those who have direct reports within the customer care units.

GIZ invites eligible and professional companies with local presence in South Africa, to participate in this tender. Tender documents are available for downloading until 13.04.2021.
