Call for Proposals - 83384301 - Provision of a package of training, facilitation and management coaching interventions for the Skills for Green Economy (SD4GE) Project in partnership with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)

The GIZ’s Skills Development for a Green Economy II (SD4GE II) aims to improve the cooperation between actors from vocational training institutions and the private sector in dual training approaches in South Africa.

It supports a structural change towards more employment-orientated training approaches and supports the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) to build a modern, high quality and agile TVET and skills development system, involving actors from both the private sector and the public TVET sector

A key priority for SD4GE II is to support collaborative engagement of key partners and stakeholders, more particularly with DHET as political partner. This includes, joint strategic planning and agreement of annual priorities, joint reflection on progress made as well as sharing information on new developments and insights gathered. In the COVID 19 contexts, these processes have had to be conducted virtually and require very different planning, facilitation and implementation skills and competencies.

SD4GE seeks the services of a highly skilled and competent service provider with core competencies of facilitation, training and coaching in the virtual realm in a manner that maintains high levels of participation and experiential processes to provide a package of virtual training, facilitation and management coaching services. Companies that have a history and a proven track record in using virtual platforms to design and conduct participatory, collaborative training, coaching and facilitation processes, utilising interactive virtual tools are encouraged to apply to provide the following services:

Planning and coordination of at least two SD4GE workshops with its political partner, DHET to reflect on progress against set priorities and to determine a way forward

Training SD4GE team members to effectively plan, prepare and coordinate virtual collaborative workshops

Coaching the SD4GE management team to work smartly and collaboratively in COVID 19 impacted contexts that require flexibility and agility
