83385087 - Call for Proposal - Monitoring and Evaluation tender
The GIZ’s Digital Skills for Jobs and Income (DS4JI) aims to increase the employment prospects of young people, especially women, in an increasingly digitalized South African economy. The project supports the improvement of employability of young people through a comprehensive approach that supports training initiatives and SME’s to improve hiring practices and stakeholder engagement. The project is supported by DS4JI’s political partner Department of Communications and Digital Technologies (DCDT).
A key priority of DS4JI is tracking the performance of the project towards reaching the objective of the programme. The project has a robust monitoring system in place which tracks the performance of the various activities. The project also seeks to measure their impact through tracer studies. Due to the large scope of these activities, the project requires external support to implement these tasks.
DS4JI seeks the services of a highly skilled and competent service provider with core expertise in monitoring and evaluation of projects in the skills development sector in South Africa. Service providers that have a history and a proven track record in overseeing parts of a monitoring and evaluation framework are encouraged to apply to provide the following services:
- Conduct a large-scale tracer study for one of the outcome indicators of the project over the lifecycle of the project
- Oversee data collection, analysis and reporting on one of the projects output areas
- Design and administer a digital skills test for TVET trainees.
GIZ invites eligible and professional companies with local presence and working experience in South Africa to participate in this tender.
