Ausgangssituation:
In Zentralasien sind etwa 30 Prozent der Erwerbstätigen in der Landwirtschaft beschäftigt. Lebensmittel zum Verkauf weiterzuverarbeiten, trägt somit wesentlich zum Wirtschaftswachstum bei. Daher braucht es qualifizierte junge Menschen in der Lebensmittelverarbeitung und der Logistik, wie in der Beschaffung, Lagerung und Verbreitung von Rohstoffen. Auch darüber hinaus benötigt die Logistikbranche aller zentralasiatischer Länder ein qualifiziertes Fach- und Führungspersonal. Dies gilt für die Landwirtschaft, den Transport, den Verkehr sowie die gesamte Industrie.

Ziel:
Die Kompetenzen der beruflichen Bildungssysteme in Kasachstan, Kirgisistan, Tadschikistan und Usbekistan sind ausgebaut, um bedarfsgerecht qualifizierte Fach- und Führungskräfte für wirtschaftliche Wachstumsbereiche auszubilden.

Vorgehensweise:
Mit der Unterstützung des ICON-Instituts und weiterer Umsetzungspartner arbeitet das Vorhaben daran:
- Internationale Qualitätsstandards in der beruflichen Bildung einzuführen,
- Arbeitskräften bessere Arbeitsmarktorientierung zu geben und die Wirtschaft in die berufliche Bildung einzubinden,
Duale Ansätze, das heißt Theorie begleitet von Praxis in Unternehmen, in der beruflichen Bildung zu etablieren.
 

 

Project description (EN)

Context:
Centrall Asia, roughly 30 per cent of the workforce is employed in agriculture. The processing of food for sale is therefore an essential component of economic growth. As a result, young people with suitable training are needed in the food processing and logistics sectors, such as in the procurement, storage and distribution of raw materials. The demand for qualified experts and managers also extends to the logistics industry across all countries of Central Asia. This is the case for agriculture, transport and industry as a whole.

Objective:
ties of the TVET systems in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to train the qualified experts and managers needed for economic growth areas have been developed.

Approach:
With the support of the ICON-Institute and other implementation partners, the project works to:
- Introduce international quality standards in TVET
- Provide workers with improved labour market guidance and involve the private sector in
TVET
- Establish dual approaches in TVET, i.e. combining theory with company-based practice.
