Ausgangssituation

Die peruanische Wirtschaft sah sich im letzten Jahrzehnt mit zahlreichen Herausforderungen, einschließlich der Pandemie, konfrontiert. Sie war jedoch äußerst widerstandsfähig. Die Menschen konsumierten mehr Güter, was industrielle Produktionen wachsen ließ.
Die Industrie jedoch deckt ihren Energiebedarf bisher überwiegend durch fossile Brennstoffe und ist auf veraltete und klimaschädliche Technologien angewiesen. Daher ist es entscheidend, auf klimafreundlichere Produktionssysteme umzustellen. Dafür sollen die Geschäftsmodelle von kleinsten, kleinen und mittleren Unternehmen (KKMU) in der verarbeitenden Industrie optimiert werden.
Trotz der Bemühungen der peruanischen Regierung, ist es bisher schwer, klimafreundliche Geschäftsmodelle zur Energieeffizienz (EE) in der Industrie zu entwickeln.

Ziel

Die Bedingungen für wirtschaftliche, energieeffiziente und somit klimafreundliche Geschäftsmodelle für KKMU in der verarbeitenden Industrie sind verbessert.

Vorgehensweise

Das Projekt arbeitet in drei Handlungsfeldern:
Es unterstützt Ausbildungsstätten dabei, ihre Weiterbildungsangebote durch Ausbau und Erweiterung derer in Themenbereichen der Energieeffizienz besser auf die Bedarfe produzierender KKMU auszurichten.
Es berät öffentliche und private Dienstleister dabei, ihre Beratungsleistung bedarfsgerecht für KKMU hinsichtlich Energieeffizienz und dem Übergang zu klimafreundlichen Geschäftsmodellen anzupassen.
Es unterstützt eine optimierte Vergabe öffentlicher und privater Förderkredite und -fonds an KKMU der verarbeitenden Industrie hinsichtlich der Integration von Auswahlkriterien der Energieeffizienz und Klimaneutralität.

Over the past decade, Peru’s economy has faced many challenges, not least the COVID-19 pandemic, but it has proved to be extremely resilient. People have consumed more goods, enabling industrial production to grow.
However, industry continues to cover most of its energy needs using fossil fuels and it remains reliant on outdated and technologies that harm the climate. A shift to more climate-friendly production systems is therefore crucial. To this end, the business m
odels of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in the manufacturing sector need to be optimised.
Despite the efforts of the Peruvian Government, it has so far proven difficult to develop climate-friendly business models that support energy efficiency in industry.

Objective

Conditions have improved for cost-effective, energy-efficient and therefore climate-friendly business models for MSMEs in the manufacturing industry.

Approach

The project is active in three areas:
It supports training centres to develop and expand their continuous training programmes offer in energy efficiency topics, to better address the needs of manufacturing MSMEs.
It advises service providers in the public and private sectors on how to tailor their advisory services to the needs of MSMEs with respect to energy efficiency and the transition to climate-friendly business models.
It supports the optimised provision of public and private loans and support funds to MSMEs in the manufacturing industry, by introducing selection criteria for energy efficiency and climate neutrality.

 

Situacion de partida

Durante la última década, la economía peruana se ha visto enfrentada a numerosos retos, incluida la pandemia. Con todo, ha demostrado un alto grado de resiliencia. La población consumió más bienes, lo que procuró un crecimiento de la producción industrial.
Sin embargo, hasta ahora la industria ha cubierto su demanda energética mediante combustibles fósiles y sigue dependiendo de tecnologías obsoletas y perjudiciales para el clima. Por ese motivo, resulta decisivo sustituir los sistemas de producción por otros más respetuosos con el clima. Para ello, se deben optimizar los modelos de negocio de las micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas (mipyme) en la industria manufacturera.
Pese a los esfuerzos del Gobierno peruano, hasta ahora ha sido difícil desarrollar modelos de negocio respetuosos con el clima en materia de eficiencia energética en la industria.

Objetivo

Las condiciones para los modelos de negocio económicos, energéticamente eficientes y, por tanto, respetuosos con el clima para las mipyme en la industria manufacturera han mejorado.

Procedimiento

El proyecto trabaja en los siguientes tres campos de acción:
Ayuda a los centros de formación a orientar mejor su oferta de formación continua a las necesidades de las mipyme manufactureras, desarrollando y ampliando dicha oferta en ámbitos temáticos relacionados con la eficiencia energética.
Asesora a los proveedores de servicios públicos y privados para adaptar sus prestaciones de asesoramiento a las necesidades de las mipyme en materia de eficiencia energética y transición a modelos de negocio respetuosos con el clima.
Apoya una concesión optimizada de créditos y fondos de fomento públicos y privados a las mipyme de la industria manufacturera en lo que respecta a la integración de criterios de selección de eficiencia energética y neutralidad climática.
