Mehr als zehn Jahre nach dem Arabischen Frühling gilt Tunesien als regionaler Vorreiter der Demokratisierung. Doch vor allem unter jungen Menschen ist die Arbeitslosenquote hoch. Das Land ist weiterhin anfällig für wirtschaftliche und soziale Krisen.
Dabei hat Tunesien unbestreitbare wirtschaftliche Vorteile: Die Nähe zu Europa und der hohe Bildungsgrad der Arbeitskräfte begünstigen Investitionen und Kooperationen.
Um das Wirtschaftswachstum zu fördern und berufliche Perspektiven besonders für jungen Menschen zu schaffen, unterstützt die Sonderinitiative „Gute Beschäftigung für sozial gerechten Wandel" private Akteure dabei, langfristige Investitionen in Tunesien zu tätigen.

Durch die Unterstützung von Unternehmen gibt es mehr Arbeitsplätze in Tunesien.

Das Projekt gliedert sich in drei Handlungsfelder:
Mit Unternehmen entwickelt es Ansätze, um Investitionen und neue Arbeitsplätze auszubauen. Dazu gehören unter anderem bedarfs- und marktorientierte Aus- und Weiterbildungen, Innovationsförderung und Unterstützung, um eine klimafreundliche Entwicklung in Tunesien voranzutreiben.
Dabei unterstützt das Vorhaben gezielt kleine und mittlere Unternehmen (KMU) sowie Start-ups. Zusätzlich werden durch ein Förderprogramm speziell die Kompetenzen von wachstumsorientierten KMU in Tunesien gestärkt.
Das Vorhaben begleitet zudem die Unternehmen im politischen Dialog, der sich mit dem gesetzlichen Investitionsrahmen und staatlichen Eingriffen befasst. Damit verbessert es – in Kooperation mit dem tunesischen Luft- und Raumfahrtverband und dem tunesischen Automobilverband – die unternehmerischen Bedingungen in der Mobilitätsbranche und stellt sicher, dass die Projektmaßnahmen langfristig wirken.
Die Ansätze spiegeln die Schwerpunkte der tunesischen Industrie- und Innovationsstrategie 2035 sowie die Prioritäten des Pakts für die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Mobilitätsindustrie, den die tunesische Regierung und die Automobilindustrie geschlossen haben, wider. 

More than ten years after the Arab Spring, Tunisia is considered a regional pioneer in democratisation. However, the unemployment rate is high, especially among young people. The country remains susceptible to economic and social crises.
At the same time, Tunisia has undeniable economic advantages, with its proximity to Europe and the high level of education of its workforce fostering investment and cooperation.
Aiming to promote economic growth and create career prospects, especially for young people, the Special Initiative ‘Decent Work for a Just Transition’ supports private stakeholders in making long-term investments in Tunisia.

The support for companies is increasing the number of jobs in Tunisia.

The project covers three fields of activity:
Together with companies, it develops approaches to expand investments and create new jobs. This includes needs- and market-orientated education and training as well as innovation promotion and support in order to drive forward climate-friendly development in Tunisia.
The project specifically supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups. In additional, a funding programme aims to strengthen the skills of growth-oriented SMEs in Tunisia.
Companies involved in policy dialogue that deal with the legal investment framework and state intervention also receive assistance. In cooperation with the Tunisian Aerospace Industries Association and the Tunisian Automobile Association, the project works to improve business conditions in the mobility sector and ensure that the project measures have a long-term impact.
The approaches reflect the priorities of the Tunisian industrial and innovation strategy 2035 and the priorities of the competitiveness pact for the mobility industry concluded between the Tunisian Government and the automotive industry. 

Le projet comporte trois champs d’actions :
Dans le cadre de ce projet, des approches visant à développer les investissements et à créer de nouveaux emplois sont élaborées en collaboration avec les entreprises. Parmi ces approches figurent des cursus de formation initiale et continue adaptés aux besoins et au marché, la promotion de l’innovation et le soutien à un développement respectueux du climat en Tunisie.
Dans ce contexte, le projet aide de manière ciblée les petites et moyennes entreprises (PME) et les startups. Par ailleurs, un programme de soutien spécifique renforce les compétences des PME tunisiennes axées sur la croissance.
Le projet accompagne également les entreprises dans le dialogue politique concernant le cadre légal de l’investissement et l’intervention de l’État. En coopération avec le Groupement des industries tunisiennes aéronautiques et spatiales et la Tunisian Automotive Association, il améliore ainsi l’environnement des entreprises dans le secteur de la mobilité et veille à ce que les mesures mises en œuvre aient un impact durable.
Ces approches reflètent les axes de la stratégie industrielle et d’innovation à l’horizon 2035 de la Tunisie, ainsi que les priorités du Pacte pour la compétitivité de l’industrie automobile conclu entre le gouvernement tunisien et l’industrie automobile.
