WEECAP - Women Economic Empowerment through Cashew Processing Program

The Women Economic Empowerment through Cashew Processing Program (WEECAP), funded by the Master-card Foundation, aims to support young women and men in the cashew value chain. It focuses on unlocking job opportunities through increased local processing, particularly by women and young women in Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal and Guinea Bissau.

Under pilar 4 of the program GIZ will drive demand from local, regional, and international markets, providing farmers with reliable buyers and helping organize the producer space.
