Supporting PYEI implementing organisations in managing change and developing organisational capacities
On behalf of the German Government, GIZ supports the Project Management Office (PMO) in the Office of the President in coordinating the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention (PYEI). The PYEI is the most comprehensive effort of the South African Government in addressing the national youth unemployment crisis and accelerates efforts to transition more young people from learning to earning.
As part of the project “Support to the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention” (S2PYEI), GIZ supports the PMO and strengthens the capacities of PYEI implementing organisations. This includes enhancing the skills and knowledge of key personnel through trainings, capacity development measures, and to further develop the organisational capacities to steer, coordinate and manage the implementation of the national intervention.
S2PYEI seeks the services of a highly skilled, experienced and competent team of organisational development (OD) experts with core competencies in organisational development and or change management to provide expertise in OD analysis and process to selected PYEI implementing organisations. The goal of the activity is to strengthen the ability of selected PYEI implementing organisation to contribute to the PYEI effectively and efficiently, so that they can play a stronger role in reducing unemployment among youth in South Africa.
