Design, Development and Implementation of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science Bootcamp for women in South Africa
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH South African office is seeking to appoint (a) qualified service provider(s) with expertise in AI and Data Science curriculum development, training facilitation and digital learning, specifically tailored for women. The service provider will create an AI and Data Science bootcamp for women with no prior coding expertise.
The projects’ objective is to increase the number of South African women capacitated in the field of AI and Data Science and in the ethically responsible development of both. Moreover, to ensure that more women could benefit from this project, at the end of the bootcamp, it´s content shall be made accessible via at least one e-learning platform (preferred option: the e-learning platform atingi (www.atingi.org).
The appointed service provider will collaborate with GIZ to deliver the following work packages:
- Scoping
- Creation of the curriculum
- Marketing Strategy
- Bootcamp
- On-the-job-training for experts
- Integration of the content into a e-learning platform (atingi)
- Monitoring and evaluation
GIZ invites eligible and professional companies with local presence in South Africa to participate in this tender.
