Public-Private Partnerships for Employment in the MENA region

The latest Capacity4Change (C4C) event focused on partnerships with the private sector to promote employment - especially for women - in the MENA region. GIZ and the event partners provided insights and examples of their initiatives.

After a year of intense work and exchange, GIZ handed over the Presidency of the Practitioners' Network to Expertise France and looked back at the achievements of the Network.

Africa Summit: The future of Africa-Europe relations

The Friends of Europe Africa Summit on 4 June addressed a wide range of topics regarding the future of Africa-Europe relations. Christoph Beier, Vice Chair of GIZ´s Management Board, joined the session on growth, jobs and economic cooperation.

European Development Days 2018

Protect, Empower, Invest – this year‘s European Development Days (EDD) in Brussels focused on gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls. As in previous years, GIZ participated in discussion panels and had stands in the Global Village.
