Question: How can I register for a course?

To register for a training course, click on the ‘Register now’ button on the page of the course you wish to attend. You will be directed to another internet page. Click on the red button marked ‘Register’ at the bottom of the page. An online registration form will appear.

Our customer service will process your registration as fast as possible and send you confirmation of your place as soon as it has been reserved for you.

Please note: you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt of your application. This does not represent a binding reservation. You will receive a binding confirmation of your registration from the AIZ customer services.

Question: When is the deadline for applications?

You can register for a course as long as places are still available. To reserve your place, select the course you are interested in from the full list of courses:  https://enroll.aiz-programm.giz.de/.There, alongside the respective dates, you will see the number of places that are still free.

Question: In which languages are the training courses held?

Alongside courses in German, we also offer some courses in English, French and Spanish. You can find all the courses we offer here: https://enroll.aiz-programm.giz.de/.

Question: Where do the courses take place?

We offer our courses in Germany and in a large number of locations in other countries. You can choose the course you want from the list of courses https://enroll.aiz-programm.giz.de/. There you will find the dates and venues for each course. 

Question: Are accommodation and meals included in the course fee?

The costs of accommodation and meals are usually not included in the course fees.

Question: I have registered for a course lasting several days. Do I have to arrange my own board and lodging?

If your course is held at the Kottenforst Campus training centre in Bonn-Röttgen, we will be happy to arrange your accommodation. You can also eat breakfast, lunch and dinner in our canteen. You will receive the bill for your accommodation and meals from our programme management during your stay.

Question: Are the course fees reduced for students, or do you offer other concessions?

Unfortunately we are unable to offer reductions on our fees.

Question: When does the course fee have to be paid?

You will receive an invoice from us around four weeks before your course begins. We kindly ask you to pay the amount shown within ten days of receiving this invoice.

Question: Will I receive an attendance certificate after the course has finished?

As a rule, every participant receives a certificate of participation on the training course, listing what the curriculum covered.

Question: What rights do I have concerning cancellation of a booking, and what are your cancellation rules?

Unless the course description states otherwise, the following cancellation regulations apply: 
Cancellation by the participant or by the registering institution/company must be sent in writing by e-mail and arrive at the customer service of the Academy for International Cooperation (AIZ) aiz-kundenservice@giz.de before the relevant deadline.

The following fees will be charged for cancellation:
Cancellation at least 20 calendar days before the course begins: no charge
Cancellation 19 calendar days or less before the course begins: the participation fee is due in full
If a registered participant does not attend (no-show), the full participation fee will be billed. The registering person or institution may also have to bear additional fees for cancelling accommodation.
If one participant cannot attend, another person may be named as a replacement.
