All roads lead to Asia

Bonn/Eschborn. Gain professional experience at the scene of dynamic economic growth – in Asia. On behalf of the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH has been offering young professionals, graduates and students the chance to obtain a practice-oriented qualification in international business for the past 20 years. The four-month internships in one of eight Asian countries give participants insight into foreign economic and education systems and promote global thinking and mobility. Next year, more than 30 young Germans will once more have the chance to acquire valuable qualifications as junior management staff in China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan or Viet Nam.

Language courses both in Germany and the destination country as well as intercultural seminars prepare the participants for the internships. With funding provided by the Heinz Nixdorf Foundation, they also receive a scholarship towards their living costs in the host country. Interested candidates who hold a university degree in technology or business should apply online to the Heinz Nixdorf Programme by 30 September 2015.
