Internship in the USA for agricultural, winemaking and horticultural experts

Applications are still being accepted

On behalf of the German Government, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH organises internships in the USA. The programme is geared towards young professionals and students with Bachelor or Masters degrees in agriculture, winemaking and horticulture. In cooperation with Ohio State University and the University of Minnesota, GIZ offers four to 12-month internships in agricultural enterprises. During this time the young experts receive training and deepen their language skills as well as learn about the living and working environment.

Applications are still being accepted. Applicants must be younger than 26 years old and have good knowledge of English. Applications should be sent at least 3 months before the planned departure to the USA. Interns are usually paid by the enterprises. Applicants can apply for scholarships from the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth to cover travel costs.
