GIZ – aware of its responsibilities
As part of our corporate responsibility for human rights we have signed up to the UN Global Compact and follow the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. With GIZ's orientation on human rights, we extend our commitment to these standards to include all employees, and we ensure they have the expertise, awareness and authority to observe and promote human rights in their work. Our rules and procedures are reviewed regularly. In consultation with our commissioning parties, we attach great importance to the way we work and the results we achieve. GIZ upholds the principle of transparency when reporting on its results and in its sustainability reports.
Human rights complaints procedure
We will respond immediately and appropriately to concerns that any of our actions may have a negative impact on human rights. Please address any such concerns to email@example.com. Complaints will be treated confidentially.
