Supply, delivery and installation of drip irrigation system, control head for drip fertigation with control unit, injection unit, automatic self-cleaning system unit and micro sprinklers for frost protection and alternative irrigation, as well as equipment for automation and controlling of irrigation scheduling.
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) is a federal enterprise that supports the German Government in achieving its objectives in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development.
As part of the Regional Climate Partnership between Germany and the Western Balkans, the objective of the project “Green Agenda: Supporting the Western Balkans in Adapting to Climate Change” is to support WB countries in adapting to climate change in accordance with the GAWB. The project follows a multi-level approach, aiming to strengthen the capacities for planning and implementing climate adaptation strategies and measures at regional, national, and local levels.
More specifically, the WB Adapt project aims to:
• Develop strategies / tools for improved and evidence-based adaptation planning and decision-making,
• Implement scalable demonstration projects for adaptation action in agriculture and urban transport, with due consideration for gender equality and nature-based solutions,
• Promote regional knowledge sharing and policy dialogue on climate adaptation.
Following the priorities of the GAWB, the project puts particular emphasis on three key components: developing regional adaptation strategies (component 1), promoting the mainstreaming of climate adaptation in agriculture (component 2) and urban transport (component 3).
Within the project, a pilot demonstration project will be established at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food in Skopje. The project will test and showcase a diverse range of tools and methodologies aimed at climate change adaptation in agriculture, with a specific focus on annual crops, vegetables, fruits, and grapes. Through practical application, the project will evaluate adaptive practices and innovative technologies that improve resilience to climate-related challenges such as drought, heat stress, and shifting growing conditions.
The demonstration will leverage existing infrastructure at the Laboratory for Digitalization in Agriculture and the Experimental Field, complemented by new equipment to support implementation.
The project is calling for expression of interest from eligible companies willing to participate in the tender for SUPPLY, DELIVERY AND INSTALATION OF:
LOT 1:
- drip irrigation system,
- control head for drip fertigation with control unit, injection unit, automatic self-cleaning system unit and
- micro sprinklers for frost protection and alternative irrigation
LOT 2:
- equipment for automation and controlling of irrigation scheduling
Partial procurement per LOT is allowed.

Interested companies that meet the technical requirements will be provided with detailed specifications to submit their offers.
