Context
Indonesia continues to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a global framework for economic, social, and environmental progress. As a new emerging donor country, Indonesia contributes to international development through South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC), sharing knowledge and resources globally. However, ensuring that SSTC initiatives have a greater impact requires better alignment and coordination between national and regional efforts.
Limited attention to gender equality, as highlighted in SDG 5, has also reduced the inclusiveness of some development efforts. To address these issues, building partnerships with diverse stakeholders is crucial for harmonising efforts and accelerating progress.
Objective
The implementation of gender-equal and socially inclusive multi-stakeholder partnerships for the SDGs and SSTC has improved.
