Senior Technical Advisor: Power Systems and Flexibility in South Africa

The South African-German Energy Programme (SAGEN) collaborates with South African partners to manage the power sector reform and the energy transition more broadly. SAGEN is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in cooperation with the Department of Electricity and Energy (DEE), Eskom, the National Transmission Company of South Africa (NTCSA) and the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) under the government-to-government coordination of National Treasury (NT). SAGEN is looking to fill a Senior Technical Advisor position to support the implementation of its activities on Flexibilization of the Electricity System and Power System Planning and Operation and Grid Expansion.
