Training Centre Feldafing

Experts and executives from around the world come together at the GIZ International Training Centre in Feldafing, near Munich. The Centre, which is supported by the Free State of Bavaria, has hosted intercultural exchange and has been a forum for North-South dialogue for 30 years.

The GIZ International Training Centre at Feldafing is a true treat for the senses, tucked away in the beautiful Alpine foothills on the shores of Lake Starnberg. Its location and facilities make it the perfect setting to focus on learning in a relaxed atmosphere. Each year, more than 1,200 executives from all over the world come here for Training.

We have many years’ experience of running conferences and training seminars and will be glad to advise you on methods and teaching approaches to make your training event a success.

Our facilities

The International Training Centre has six well-equipped seminar and meeting rooms of differing sizes, and its spacious terrace offers guests the chance to learn against the breath-taking backdrop of the Alps. For networking between seminars, we have an inviting coffee bar and our own pub, complete with a traditional skittle alley. The Centre has its own hotel with 59 single rooms (all with shower/WC, telephone, and a balcony or terrace) as well as a restaurant offering traditional dishes.

Our location

The area around Feldafing is home to a number of beautiful attractions, including Kloster Andechs, a Benedictine church and monastery, the Buchheim Museum, which is devoted to fantasy and imagination, and the famous ‘fairy-tale castle’ of Neuschwanstein. Munich, the capital city of Bavaria, is easily accessible from Feldafing and offers a wide range of tourist attractions and leisure facilities.
