Fraudulent e-mails are currently circulating in the name of GIZ. They are often sent from supposed accounting addresses such as abrechnungskonto.com or finanzabteilung-accounts.com. These fake emails are aimed at service providers and request, among other things, the disclosure of confidential information, such as outstanding invoices or contact details, with the aim of subsequently falsifying them.
GIZ asks recipients of such emails to ignore them and not to share any sensitive information.
