VIRTUAL YOUTH SAFE SPACES: Training of Trainers on Peacebuilding and Prevention of Violent Extremism

Then we look forward to having you in the Virtual Youth Safe Spaces: Training of Trainers on Peacebuilding and Prevention of Violent Extremism!

On behalf of the German Government, the GIZ project Youth for a Culture of Peace and Non-violence in Mindanao (YOUCAP) is implementing this activity in cooperation with the Interfaith Dialogue on Violent Extremism (iDove) and the Mindanao State University - Iligan Institute of Technology, Mindanao Center for Resiliency. 

Here are the activities:

Virtual Exchanges

  • Virtual Workshop on Peacebuilding and Preventing Violent Extremism (1 module per week) - Dec 2020 to Jan 2021 (6 weeks)
  • Mentoring Sessions and Online Exchanges (1-2 calls per month) - Jan to May 2021

Youth Camp and Practice Lab 

  • 4-day Face-to-face Practice Lab on Training Facilitation Skills - June 2021, Mindanao
