SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

In order for Syrians to rebuild their country in a just and stable manner, the property rights of refugees and displaced persons must be secured. Together with partners, GIZ has created an important basis for this to happen.

My name is Duygu Baydilli and I work in the Construction Section at GIZ. Together with more than 40 colleagues, I advise, review and approve construction projects across the world.

Colombia is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. GIZ is actively involved in efforts to protect ecosystems such as the particularly valuable landscapes of the High Andes. A visit to these remote mountains shows how farming families, artificial intelligence and love of nature are coming together to achieve this goal.

My name is Daniel Moser. I’ve been living in India for a year now and, before that, I worked for the World Bank in the United States. In India, I manage several GIZ transport projects with support from a fantastic, dynamic team.
