The objective of the EIB-funded "Ukraine and Moldova Infrastructure Technical Assistance Facility" (UMITAF) is to support the preparation and implementation of infrastructure investments for the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine, as well as for the economic resilience of both Ukraine and Moldova. The main sectors that will be covered by assignments under UMITAF are: Energy and Energy Efficiency; Transport; Municipal infrastructure; and Social housing.
UMITAF is set to provide different types of technical and advisory assistance tailored to the needs and maturity of projects and their status in the project cycle, ranging from identification, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies to assistance during tendering process and project implementation. The scope of services includes Technical Assistance and engineering services on the full infrastructure project cycle, from strategy support, master planning and investment programming, to feasibility studies, design services, procurement support, implementation support and technical audits.
