Climate change induced risks are growing, yet decision-makers lack the necessary data, tools, and institutionalised CRM practices to design evidence-based actions, leading to maladaptation and compromised development planning and investment. The project aims to address the lack of accessible and tailored CIS for decision-making processes across regions and three partner countries: Guatemala, Pakistan, Zambia. By establishing and developing capacity for sustainable, integrated regional-national CIS value chains and strengthening mechanisms for their uptake in the development and implementation of NAPs, NDCs and NBSAPs, the project seeks to strengthen the resilience of communities and ecosystems through evidence-based climate policies, investment decisions and gender-responsive approaches. Replication will be fostered by generating cross-sector, cross-country and cross-regional learnings to be adopted at wider scale, and by using the RCCs as learning intermediaries and multipliers.
