We make supply chains productive, fair, inclusive, and sustainable - securing livelihoods while protecting the planet.

Agriculture sustains billions, but faces deforestation, biodiversity loss, climate change, and unfair wages. Smallholders struggle with low incomes and poor conditions. Tackling these issues requires bold, collaborative action. AgriChains drives systemic change by working with governments, businesses, civil society, and producers. With over 300 partners, including global market leaders such as Nestlé and Aldi , we promote sustainable agriculture worldwide.

Our focus

- Sustainable Agriculture: Promoting eco-friendly practices like agroforestry to boost yields and protect ecosystems.

- Farmer Empowerment: Providing training and financial literacy to help farmers secure better incomes and long-term stability.

- Human Rights & Fair Labour: Advocating fair wages, safe working conditions, and inclusivity.

- Policy & Market: Driving sustainable policies through multi-stakeholder collaboration.

Acting Locally, Thinking Globally

- Private Sector Collaboration: Embedding sustainability in corporate supply chains.

- Civil Society Engagement: Strengthening advocacy for farmers and workers.

- Knowledge & Training: Supporting producers to meet compliance with global standards.

- Policy & Regulatory Support: Assisting governments and businesses in their sustainability efforts.

- Certification & Traceability: Enhancing transparency and market access.

- Producers: We support producers in benefiting from policies like the EU Deforestation-Free Regulation (EUDR). Our ‘FIT for FAIR’ approach ensures fair and practical, hands-on implementation.

AgriChains is part of the Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains Initiative (SASI) and a flagship of Team Europe’s Deforestation-Free Value Chains Initiative.
