The GIZ programe "Employment Promotion for Women for the Green Transformation in Africa (WE4D)" aims to create jobs for women and support sustainable and inclusive economic growth in Tanzania through the promotion of renewable energies and circular economy initiatives. The political partner of the pro-gramme is Prime Minister’s Office Labour, Youth, Employment and persons with Disability (PMO LYED). WE4D focuses on sectors with significant potential for employment impacts for women while contributing to a climate-friendly economy. These sectors include renewable energy, circular economy, waste manage-ment, sustainable agriculture, aquaculture, and eco-tourism.
