Call for Expressions of Interest - No. 10064511

Due to the extensive regional travel requirements of GIZ North Macedonia, frequent cross-border missions, and the need to transport project staff, experts, delegates and stakeholders safely and efficiently, the vehicles are expected to provide a standard level of passenger comfort, luggage capacity, operational reliability and road safety while ensuring efficient implementation of project activities throughout the region. 

Interested suppliers should be able to offer vehicles meeting, inter alia, the following key requirements:

• New passenger van (M1 category passenger vehicle);
• Seating capacity for at least nine (9) persons, including the driver (8+1 configuration);
• Three-row seating arrangement suitable for long-distance travel with possibility for rotation of the second row;
• Large luggage compartment suitable for transporting passengers and their luggage while all seats remain available for use;
• Diesel engine compliant with Euro 6 or higher emission standards;
• Modern active and passive safety systems, including emergency braking assistance and lane-assistance functions;
• Minimum 5-star Euro NCAP safety rating or equivalent;
• Availability of authorised warranty and maintenance services in North Macedonia and throughout the Western Balkans region, including Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro;

Minimum preselection qualification criteria:

• Availability of authorised warranty and maintenance services across the Western Balkans region, including North Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro. 
  • Applicants must provide a list of authorised service centres in each of the listed countries, including the name, full address and contact details of each service centre.
• Compliance with applicable European safety, environmental and vehicle approval standards. 
  • Documentary evidence may be requested at the tender stage.

Economic operators interested in participating are invited to submit an expression of interest. The complete tender documentation, including detailed technical specifications and contractual conditions, will be provided to shortlisted/interested candidates in the subsequent procurement stage.

1. Central Registry statement containing current company data, (with up-to-date company information)
2. Signed and stamped Self-declaration of eligibility form (link)
